Calming with a hint of progressive house/trance. Percussion is awesome along with the bass. Not too much to say other than that. Look forward to hearing more from you.

thanks and yeah the percs are somewhat exotic :)

Dance floor killer

I definitely noticed a big difference on this one! xD I have to say I was really digging it when I heard it. That bassline kicked ass and difinitely stood out from everything especially when you let it keep going @ 1:00 for the build up. This is something I would play on one of my sets. Just extend it 2-3 minutes for a dance mix and you're set!

As for Skull Candy's, I bought a pair once and never liked them. I wouldn't recommend mastering with headphones anyway. Near field moniters are the way to go when working on a track and mastering it. You can find you a good pair if you just look around and do your research. There are a lot out there that sound good for a decent price.

All in all, very good work! :) 10/10 5/5

I'll get you a mixable version and PM you with the download link hopefully by today. I'm glad you like it haha. Yeah I'm not a headphone guy either but I have to be careful how loud I get in my apartment. I was thinking about getting some Dre Beats headphones because the outputs on there are extremely professional - we'll see what happens after christmas when I can start saving up money again. Thanks for the support man glad you enjoyed it!

Not bad for your first attempt

I have to agree with 23i, the intro needs to be a little bit longer. Usually when I make a trance track I like to start off by introducing all of the elements and it typically takes around 1-2 mins before the break down.

Add some more synths or percussion to give it more life. Perhaps a well thought out rythym. Try adding a catchy melody that emerges from the break down to give it that "wow". Also, you need a lot more build ups to give it some anticipation. All in all keep practicing and you will get better over time.

Hope that helps!

Thanks for the help :)

This is really good XD

I definitely like the sounds you have here. Those vocal slices are awesome as well. I am noticing a lot of progression with every track you upload. Keep 'em coming!

Thanks so much man, that's all I'm trying to do is get better :)

My ears like it..

It sounds good. I would like to hear something similar to this except without the beat and percussion. Though @ 4:33 the piano starts to sway out of place. Other than that I liked it.

The-Chosen1 responds:

Thank you for your constructive feedback. I will keep that in mind when reworking the song or writing a new one.
I've written similar songs and I'm planning to record those soon ;)

Sounds good

Great molodies you got goin' on there along with the bass line sounds good, too. I liked the saw synth that came in around 1:55 it gave it a little something extra. Great job overall 5/5 10/10

takeflight responds:

Why thank you for your kind review sir! I kinda hoped somebody out there would
appreciate that little saw synth line in the middle ;]

Solid Banging track

I am liking the saw melody along with the hardcore bass . Keep up the great work!

Thanks mate!

Smooth Transition

Very smooth song that transitions from fast paced drum beats to a slow state of peace and relaxation. Nicely composed main lead along with the guitar strings in the background, but still has a lot more potential to be better. I could hear quiet bass strings distant in the background but still needed a bass line to complete it. For that I give you 4/5 - 8/10

Hey thanks! I appreciate your review. I realiezed that the sub bass was an octave up from what it should've been. Was peeking at like 85Hz instead of around 50-60. I'm uploading it fixed right now. Hopefully you'll like that better. (:

Anyways, this review was very helpful so thanks alot. (:
